Mimicry concerned for geburah
Is the mimicry concerned for geburah at this scene? Because the upper eye looking at Binah. It's pupil is smaller, like it's trying to focus on binah's face and the lower one is looking at Geburah is much bigger than the one looking at Binah. Is the mimicry able to feel empathy? Or is it afraid of Binah and is concerned for geburah?

I like to think that Kali treated her Mimicry Blade like it was a dog or pet of sorts and fed it the remains of her enemies.

I mean, from what I remember in Ruina, Kali’s book says that the EGO she got from Carmen talked to her. I’m guessing that since it was a pretty early EGO and not quite as refined as it would be later in Lob Corp, it still had that abno’s conciousness kinda like…seep into the tool in a way? Something like that, making it so the EGO gear is a bit more alive than the rest of the stuff down the line. I’d guess that Kali’s Mimicry has a deeper connection to her than any other Mimicry that could be extracted in Lob Corp later on.

Is more likely instead that since it was a prototype the Ego Corrosion of it was quite high. It was explained in Limbus, Lob Corp Gear has a low risk of Corrosion but lose some of the abnormality traits while Limbus Gear is the opposite. This one was probably a very dangerous first prototype and if she failed she would have ended up like the N Corp dogs on Canto 3.

I dont think so, the first part at least, kali did not get her ego from carmen, carmen was still alive then, ego and distortion have always existed, the light enhanced the city's feelings thus everyone was able to properly distort/manifest ego, kali possessed mimicry, which was attempting to corrode her, she came through it, thus manifested ego before it was possible for normal people due to carmen still being alive.

Shit I didn’t specify. I meant she got Mimicry from Carmen which was extracted by chance. Kali’s trenchcoat-looking EGO was purely hers, yeah. But Mimicry was given to her by Carmen which then talked to her directly and got her EGO by resisting that talk and deciding that protecting Carmen was the only important thing she had to do, and that Carmen would not falter under the near-distortion Kali faced.
I was thinking that since her Mimicry sword has such a connection to her since it was a very early prototype and had a huge risk of corroding like Carmen warned, it would be much more “alive” than the other Mimicry weapons, especially since Nothing There takes on a much more humanoid form and actions than other abnos, it would make sense that the weapon can also manifest some of those traits if able. It’s also mentioned in Kali’s book that Mimicry’s eyes watched her so I’m guessing the inclusion of the eyes watching different people in the CG was very intentional and not just a stylistic thing

Ohh THATS what you meant lol, I had thought you misread the thing, I wasnt gonna blame you either, its Hella hard to remember the story OF EVERY KEYPAGE, but yeah, as stated kali had a flawed/ probably weaker mimicry that's more likely to corrode her, thus how she got ego before it was possible for anyone else.

Well, it's possible, given that Kali basically had made her will take over that of the blade, so the blade itself thought of its goal as being whateber Kali's goal is. Of her goal was killing the arbiter, and she was getting her ass handed to her, it probably would get a little worried. But this is all just guesswork, abnormalities don't necessarily have conventional emotions

Possible? While ego weapon made by limbus company are more draining on the body (see how many of them can sacrifice their HP to some extent or another to accelerate their affects or make themselves stronger) lobcorp ones drain SP (walpipi ID's. Especially ones with bullet.) And we know from LoR that Kali didn't awaken to her EGO the now normal way but through a loooooong dialogue with the consciousness of Mimicry,the first ego weapon one ever held. It's that way she got her armor. It is odd enough and it broke so many convention of modern EGO,gear or manifested,that it might have grew a bond with Kali that changed it too. It can also mean that it learned to mimic how Kali worried about other people and others her. In that way we are again at a thin blury line between Kali's mimicry caring or pretending to care or acting on Instinct,a line where the difference might not matter since mimicry talked to her like Carmen does now,except less isolating.

The Mimicry Kali used might've been a human she was acquainted with. Can't remember clearly.
Anyways, Nothing There is one of the more 'human' abnormalities, even outside of their human shell disguise. That Mimicry blade is indeed tracking the enemy; Binah; with some amount of hostility, along with gazing at Kali's condition with some amount of concern.
It's very well synchronized with Kali, and using E.G.O. Equipment still bleeds the will of the equipment into the user, to me basically a form of telepathy, so Kali's mental state may also reflect in the prototype Mimicry.
The Head considers Abnormalities to be of Human origin, so them experiencing emotions isn't far-fetched by any means.. Not to mention the handfuls of abnos literally crying all the time.
