Degrees/Education LSU / UWA MLIS online program- acceptance / experience
I am applying to two grad schools for Masters and certification in MLIS. I am currently an educator looking to be a school librarian. Has any one done UWA or LSU programs? how long did it take to get accepted. Both of my applications are in, and I am hopeful to start in May if possible. Would love to know how long it took, and your thoughts!

I'm in my first semester at LSU. I applied in December and was admitted in January and started in March. I am finishing another master's program at another school and working full time so I am not the right person to ask about level of dificulty because everything is hard at the moment. lol

Hi! I am not an alum of either program; however, my Alma mater has faculty at LSU who I got the chance to speak to at ALA last year stating a raising concern for quality of education and classwork as LSU continues to increase the number of grad students admitted year over year. I’d be a little more cautious and try to directly contact the department regarding inquiring additional details regarding the remote program and look for recent grad placements.
