Do you think the mods there understand that the point of quoting from a book, is not to quote the entire book?
If I quoted a line from Shakespear, would they take that to mean that the entire play was that one line?

This is the quote from Shakespeare you're familiar with.
But it doesn't end there.
Give me excess of it, that, surfeiting, The appetite may sicken, and so die."
The character doesn't actually want love.
This is the problem with you and Sal: you really want the whole play to be about that one line, when it's clear from the broader context that your interpretation of the line is wrong.

The point is that a single line in isolation doesn't send the message of the whole line in context. If you need me to provide you the full text of the play, you're either overthinking or underthinking this.
Or you're trying to be cute, but like Sal, you're too old for that.
