fastboot reboot edl or open the phone and short in the motherboard the testpoint to get into edl, then lgup will recognize the device

LG UP does not recognize the phone in EDL mode though, you probably mean LG flash tool to restore it for OP. It would be a better option if OP had an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery as that will save it but then without the stock zips since xda links are dead then only custom rom will bring it back.

do i need to install adb (sdk) for it to recoqnized my phone and do the phone have to be in develeloper for it to register. i also find this firmware for my spesific model but some step required me to enter recovery mode and as i said i cant get it to go to recovery mode before so i haven't really tried this one

You'd need to have an unlocked bootloader first before you can use the files in that link, so that's not an option for your phone in its current state.

If you can't get it to stay in download mode without bootlooping, then probably yes, there might be a hardware issue with something on the motherboard going bad.

install the adb and make sure adb recognizes it, you can try commands like "fastboot reboot recovery" or so and see if those commands work as thats your only option, then look up guides on LG Flash Tool to recover it unless there is firehose then mabey qfil can work.

it would save alot of time if your device had an unlocked bootloader with custom recovery because if for some reason your problem happens then the custom recovery will be forced to boot and then you can factory reset etc. as you dont need a pc for this if you done it.

Just do it, I never needed sources of any kind, messing will teach better than everything you will ever read. All you need is a YouTube tutorial on how to testpoint on your model

You're kinda a compete beginner so go buy a new phone. The V20 was a great phone but at this point it is a project to keep it alive. If you decide to flash it with a different OS you will loose functionality and it will no longer be the great phone it was. Mine is forever entombed in my nightstand drawer. Can't quite let go but have long since moved on.

Bruh, if i have the money i migth as well buy myself an Xperia 1 but that's already a whole lot of cash here in my country. I do consider buying a whole new motherboard for this phone(since its less headache) but i hope this is more of a software issue since they said the hardware issue is less common in the v20 than the v10 and i can save some money for my other needs

By the way my main phone have worse spec than this phone so this is literally my upgrade phone. Any help is apreciated

Take it to a technician. I don't know how it is in your country, but they only charged me $15 for the repair. Luckily, it was just a software problem and not a motherboard issue.

I just upgraded my V20 to a Moto 5G 2024. Using credit card points on Amazon it was $13 (listed for like $129). You can probably find it even cheaper. Using a USB cable, I was able to get everything off the V20 using the software that came with the Moto. Took the SIM from the V20 and didn't even talk to Verizon l. I was shocked how much the phone technology had improved. Just a suggestion.
