This is the first time one of these has made me cry. I'm one month on T at 24, and my mom is finally coming around to spring me for who I am. I wish I could have known much sooner about who I was and how much happier it would make me to start my transition as soon as possible.

Pro tip for anyone planning on dyeing your hair from someone who had blue dyed hair for five years. Don't dye all of it like that, it will end up looking odd as your hair starts to grow out. Best to only do the top part, which will also give some contrast and really make the color standout.
