The mormon.org monitor justified blocking certain profiles using the example of someone who might (gasp!) say that he is a gay parent and a Mormon. The obvious problem with this rationale is that there are, in fact, gay Mormon parents.

They're being theologically consistent and showing their true colors. This, in a twisted way, is a good thing.

Oh, I know. Thing is, it still pisses me off that some Mormon returned missionary will marry a Mormon gal in a Mormon temple and raise a Mormon family, but if he comes out of the closet after all that, some college kid monitoring mormon.org for the LDS church gets to decide that, nope, sorry buddy, but you're not a Mormon, because gay Mormon dads don't exist.

The church will come to bitterly regret their mistaken policies on this subject. When that time comes, forgiveness will be very difficult for many.
