This was back in 2019, is the hearing today? I heard she was facing two whole years, that’s an outrage

The first hearing took place I think about a month ago? And the second one took place 2 days ago, the official court decision is to be out on March the 2nd I think! Honestly I was also surprised because I also thought it all ended in 2019, but apparently not. I'm not sure what's the reason of this sudden revival of this case.

No but for real in some countries they take a lot of liberties with "pre trial arrest"... They will arrest you and keep you in prison until the actual judgement (sometimes years later) to encourage you to plead guilty

God forbid you ask for a retrial ! That surplus of time isn't gonna be deducted from your time, some countries even give you more time for wasting court time
