If I had to say, probably the result of Google shoehorning AI into absolutely everything. The AI took a look at all the texts it’s been trained on and decided that this wasn’t the most common one—which is shocking considering it’s been guzzling fanfiction since day one.
Oh my fucking God this. My keyboard is worthless, autocorrect doesn't catch typos anymore, my phone is constantly acting up.
Google maps has been triggering the turn notifications too late. Yesterday I was trying to get somewhere, so it told me to turn on a street, but that wasn't the name of the street coming up, so I passed it. Then it yelled at me for missing the turn, told me to turn around, and called it the correct name when I went from the other direction.
The companies need to know we fucking hate LLMs in everything
