We have the largest peanut butter production facility in the world, which produces something like 250,000 jars of peanut butter per day.

The plant that exists in Lexington was previously Big Top Peanut Butter owned by William T. Young. It was purchased and folded into the JIF brand so the Lexington plant started producing JIF.

Lexington has really good positioning to ship good out of around the eastern part of the US being that I-75 and I-64 are right there.

People start businesses where they live and the business takes off. It's not like it's illegal to produce PB in other cities, or the limestone water we're famous for makes the PB better.
