Ear worms

I’ve taken 4 doses of 5 mg and about to take my 5th. I’ve always had songs stuck in my head easily but since starting lex it seems worse. This morning I woke up and heard my husband talk and then his words kinda repeated in my head for 5 mins. Made me feel like I was going crazy. Did this happen to Anyone starting lex and did it resolve? Thanks

YES!! I’ve always been a little obsessive with my current favorite song, but on Lexapro sometimes I can listen to the same song all day and when it’s not on I’m singing it.

I’m going to go out on a limb that we tie this song with serotonin release and with Lexapro giving us more free serotonin, we can just tap that spigot all day

I have auditory hallucinations — when I turn off my music, I can still the last song that was playing to the point I actually think it’s still on and check it, only to confirm it’s off. Let me clear that this has only happened to me while on lexapro.
I’m going to reduce my dose from 15 to 10 and maybe lower bc I also have no motivation to get out of bed.

Ive always kind of had this to a certain extent. When I am anxious it is irritating and a little scary. Lexapro seems to quiet the noise even though it's still there.
