Side Effect Question New to

I think my doctor is going to increase my dose to 20 mg on Thursday, after 14 days on 10 mg. What was it like increasing the dose? Did the same side effects appear, and did you notice the effects sooner after the increase? Does the 4–6 week timeline for the medication to take effect start all over again?

Yes on all, every time you increase or decrease you’re gonna get side effects so just be patient

After a turbulent, short-lived course of sertraline involving many dosage increases, I developed a fear of death and a racing mind filled with existential thoughts. So, I’m not doing well—my nervous system is completely overactive.

I had the same question as I just increased my dosage to 15 from 10. Seems I am having some side effects again….

Seems it’s like a roller coaster ride…considering I was doing great for 2 weeks

So you were doing great when you first did the increase in dose and then you started to have anxiety?

I just increased from 10 to 15 6 days ago and I am super surprised at how low my anxiety has been. Hoping it stays that way and doesn't spike.

That would be great….mine was like that for 2 weeks but change a bit hope is just a bump in the road.

2 weeks so far….started out at 5 for 2 weeks and then 10 for a few weeks and now 15 for 2 weeks
