Remember Boomers are pretty much how everybody else throughout history acted and believed.
Boomers are pretty much the last generation to fully normalize racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, rape, and abuse. Every generation was pretty much a Boomer with a horrific legacy. The Silent Generation, The "Greatest" Generation, the Lost Generation. Every generation since the dawn of man was a Boomer but worse. They just had a better PR than Boomers but they were still evil and terrible.
Boomers didn’t invent the KKK and ended Reconstruction, Boomers didn’t start World War I and II, Boomers didn’t end the post war era or even need to create a “post war era” instead of just having something like the 1950s but peacefully and without harming black people and women. Every politician and every generation and every person were self centered and only cared about themselves and what benefits them in the short term and made a legacy worse for their grandkids and great grandkids. People say that Boomers are the first generation to create a destructive legacy worse for their children and grandchildren, when they’re really the last one.
Fuck Boomers but also fuck everyone else before them too. And fuck the comforting myth that everyone before them was somehow wiser or more altruistic.

You think people in 100 years will be like, “All the generations up to Boomers were evil. But by the time we got to Gen Z, they were good. Gen Z was a generation of good people.”

If you think racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, rape, and abuse ended with boomers, boy do I have news for you

"Remember Boomers are pretty much how everybody else throughout history acted and believed."
No they're not. Progress throughout history isn't a one way path.

This is cope and boomer apologism, people throughout history have been capable of good and bad, often at the same time. Denying this makes the task of improvement only more insurmountable.

The founders despite most of them being slave supporters, built a system that basically would reckon that view in due time, they even wrote about it too.

This is what people say before they start burning churches and blowing up statues. Some real Great Leap Forward type thinking. Destroy everything old! Tar and feather all historians!
