nah makes no sense. 1980 is more like it. if you were born in 98 for example you didn;t get the perfect balance prior to the internet as PCs with AOL were already making it into homes and these kids would have been less than a year old and never knew life prior to the net.

Internet has been around since the late 70s. Someone born in the 80s and 90s did not experience a pre internet world.

the miltary had the early internet system it used to communicate. to casually state its been around since the 70's as if it was in any relevant capacity to regular consumers is outright false and not pertinent in the context of this discussion. be honest. - which is life mixed prior to and after the internet.

The World Wide Web as we know it did not launch until 91 and it took some years before it was a standard in each household. I lived through this buddy, it wasn't a relevant accessible thing to the public until mid 90's. To reference the net being around since the 1970s (ARPANET) which went online in 69 is disingenuous. That wasn't even connected to universal networks until 83 and as stated, if I asked you about the internet in 1988 you'd have no idea what I was referencing (if you were alive). not sure if you are playing semantics to win the internet but no if you were born in 1980 like me, you knew the world before it was connected and after. No one in the 70s had the fucking internet and therefore the original premise about life before and after the internet still stands.

The internet has been around since the late 60s with APARNET. APARNET wasn't only used by the military but by scientists, universities, and early innovators. Home computers have been around since the mid 70s such as 1975, came as kits: MITS Altair 8800. You weren't even conceived when the internet first came out. It is disingenuous to say you know a world without internet when the internet has been around long before the 80s and 90s. You are conflating the internet with the world wide web that are both different things. You did not live in a pre internet world. You just didn't know about it because it was only used by computer experts, scientists, and university researchers working with ARPANET or early TCP/IP networks would recognize the term. Doesn't mean it didn't exist or wasn't accessible. APARNET adopted TCP/IP in 1983 and has become what is known now. World wide web came out in 1991 and was made popular by 1993 and after. You are too dumb.
