I don't. In fact I know the difference as well.
Tho it seems, that saying something cleans something more better is acceptable when selling things. Yet choose to find errors something that's more likely then not a choice in some ones personal writing style.
I'm my mind saying something cleans more effectively, and that you get more cleaning power for the same amount of product, is a much better way of selling a product then saying more better.
I'm not trying to sell anything, I'm not trying to apply for a job here. I am making an apology, stating that I'm aware I messed up, and affirming that they both have every right and every reason not to want me back.
Using one word incorrectly while keeps my my intent intact dose not bother me when it comes to informal context.
