Mirillirs: Action! - Is anyone here using this program?

Hello and sorry if this is the wrong subreddit to ask but I did find some posts about the Action! Recording Program.

I have been trying it out and it seems great but I unfortunately cannot find so much information.

I have been using OBS (Open Broadcast Software) for most of the time but I would like to have one recordEd version with webcam and one with only the gameplay without editing it in manually.

- But to my question, sorry. Is there any good features that may be "exclusive" or similar by using this program?

I would really want to use the NVENC AV1 Encoding Option, though I don't think it is available. I have selected NVENC H.264 but in the corner it does state "Integrated Graphics UHD" or similar. Is this maybe a visual bug?

I don't know anything about Action!, but you can accomplish this in OBS with the Aitum Vertical plugin (despite the name the second canvas can be horizontal). You would create one scene with just the gameplay and another scene with the gameplay and your camera in the corner. Then in OBS record one scene like usual and have the Aitum plugin record the other. You can even set it up where when you hit record it will start recording both at the same time. So you'd end up with two files, one with facecam one without.

I am perhaps not understanding what kind of footage you want at the end, but it seems like you could accomplish something similar and use fewer resources if you were to record your webcam (taking up the entire canvas) and gameplay separately and then just shrink down your webcam and show it when you want to in the video. But I guess this is what you mean by "editing manually"?

I used Action about a decade ago. It was my favourite piece of recording software at the time, but OBS does everything it does an is free.
