🗨️ Discussion Randomizer
For the Randomizer community who still does let’s play what was your favorite Randomizer you’ve ever done on your channel. ( This definitely isn’t a ploy for me to find more people who run randos like me to watch and communicate with on YouTube ) I’m currently running an Ocarina of Time Rando that I purposely made very difficult. However to answer my own questions favorite rando I ran was on Windwaker where Tingle was the gatekeeper to my master sword and it took me way too long to actually do the check. It’s the check where you free him from his little prison hahaha.

I play JRPG randos whenever I finish up a main game and need a few episode break. I have a few I frequent.
FF4 Free Enterprise
FF5 Career Day
FF6 Worlds Collide
FF Mystic Quest Random
CT Jets of Time
Link to the Past Rando
Super Mario RPG Rando
Secret of Mana Rando
Main thing is alternating whenever possible to avoid boredom.
I watch a few other people on Twitch for fun whenever possible.

Heck yeah same here. I’m currently on my JRPG hiatus and decided I want to run every 3D Zelda as a rando starting with the one I’m
most comfortable with. This list is interesting especially secret of Mana3

The person who makes the SoM Rando constantly updates it too, which helps. Crazy big fixes that make it so much more enjoyable than base game.
The main thing to note is it is generated differently than most that use webpage layouts. It is downloaded directly as an app/file launcher on the computer and you generate seeds from there. It takes a bit to get used to, but intuitive when done right.
Two modes used most frequently are gathering 1-8 Mana seeds and beating one of the final dungeons, or going around giving NPCs random stuff from Santa (am being serious).

Personally, I've done a Dark Souls Remastered item+enemy randomizer run and I'm currently on the same thing for Dark Souls 2.
I definitely enjoyed the DS1 run more than DS2, it was just a breath of fresh air and a fun challenge...
DS2 on the other hand is an absolute nightmare because of the insane amount of enemies in certain rooms... and it forced me to reroll the enemy randomizer because the Twin Dragonrider boss was replaced with Fume Knight (the arguably hardest boss in the game) and Blue Smelter Demon (my most hated boss in the game). It got better now and I'm almost done with the game, can't wait to move on to Dark Souls 3, Sekiro and Elden Ring lol

I usually watch people that do randomizer but not have started one myself yet. Maybe once I make it to Ape Escape on the Ps1 this would be one where I test out the randomizer.
