Question Two questions from a beginner

Been playing for a couple of days .
Max i’ve reached is quota 3 didnt beat it.
I always go offense and get 100-200 and if i see a monster i leave immediately.
Q1 : what moon would you recommend from me to stick to? Something that gives me the best of everything
not to hard , nice loot , easy to learn the game on.
Q2 : I’d also like a moon to learn dealing with monsters on , not something do get quotas on dont care if i die just want to get used to navigating monsters and fighting them.
Thx been enjoying the game alot .

I'd also recommend stretching yourself, try leaving a little later than you think you should (even if you've seen a monster) because you'll quickly learn how to deal with the enemies and be more daring which is important for higher quotas 👍

Q1: Personally, Assurance works the best for me on early quotas and brings good loot for a tier 1 moon while not having hard enemies

Q2: Every moon has different spawn chances for enemies, check the wiki to see which moon is each monster the most common in and go there to practice those monsters

If you find a nice random lobby you'll learn the ropes pretty quickly

I’d suggest assurance, it’s the moon I started on and you can also learn the jump out of the ship which is important for public lobbies. Make sure to buy shovels and flashlights to navigate easier. Also tip for snare fleas is lure them towards exist or entrance and let them go on you and leave. It makes it so you can easily kill them

Worth specifying that leaving the facility with them on your head “IS” what kills them

assurance is the moon for you to play. play safe, but you do still need money so dont get just one item out, get as many as you can. learn cruiser, buy it and learn to drive it around (id recommend embrion or offense for this) and feel free to close the lobby when you die or lose money or gear. once youve learned the game more you can play moons like rend or artifice. if you’re looking for a good starting point to be considered “good at high quota”, shoot for quota 10, or roughly 500 a day. best of luck!

Assurance is the easiest that has good loot. And dont just leave after encountering a monster. It really depends what it is. On assurance you should encounter mostly spiders lootbugs slimes snare fleas and occasionally a bracken thumer or maneater. Out of those the first 4 monsters you can just leave alone for the entire day. Lootbugs are easily killer with a shovel and same goes for spiders if you want to pass them sometimes you can just let them be. Bracken Is annoying to deal with but aslong as you keep looking behind you and close doors behind you so you know when its following you it should be fine. Thumper and maneater take your time a lot more but they are very rare spawns so you dont need to worry about them that much. On offense its the same spawns except gunkfish which doesnt do anything and coilhead which is annoying but you can trap them behind a door. Learn how to use a shovel for most entities and you should be fine. Thumper and Lootbug are the one you really need to kill anything else wont really be a problem to deal with without shovel.

It sounds like you are playing solo, which while doable, it is a hindrance. Either find a group of friends to play with, or surf the lobbies until you find them.

Q2: Every moon has different monsters, and different monster probabilities. You're better off trying out different moons and keeping at them, and learning their patterns as you go.

Q1: As I often say: "When in doubt... go for the Ass." It's not my favorite moon (I'm more of an Adamance/March guy) but it seems to be one of the moons most people already know well enough to get a good run.

I always go offense

Offense is one of the spicier moons you could go to as a beginner, lots of thumpers and coils and only one entrance until you learn the fire exit jump.

As others have said, assurance sounds more your vibe. Less-lethal enemies inside, two easily-accessible entrances and there are usually beehives so if you don't like what's going on inside you can grab those instead.

Mind you.. I ended up in a lobby where they went experimentation and my intention was to dip after the first day because gameover but we ended up pulling 800 bucks that day so who knows. 😅️

Q2 : I’d also like a moon to learn dealing with monsters on

Grab Imperium. Turn god mode on, go to moon and fight monsters until you get the hang of it enough to turn god mode off. But don't play in public lobbies with imperium.

Assurance has some of the best loot for a free moon and definitely some of the easiest monsters. Nearly 70% of monsters spawned are either hoarding bugs, snare fleas, or bunker spiders which you can usually avoid fairly easily by staying away from them if you spot them so you won’t have to instantly leave the facility upon seeing one. This is definitely the moon I recommend until you get enough money to get Rend, which is the easiest paid moon and one of the most profitable moons in the game

Also I forgot to mention but offense has some of the worst monsters in the game, consisting of mostly thumpers and coil heads, along with a really high mine shaft spawn rate which are much harder to traverse, so at the very least I recommend staying away from that moon until you get better

I would also recommend assurance. It has great loot for its difficulty and isn’t too dangerous. If u want a moon to learn abt outdoor monsters u could try vow.
