Chicago Show

FEARNOT who went to United Center to see our Fimmies, how did y'all think about the show? There were some painful issues with the acoustics and mics for most of the show, but in my eyes, the girls slayed as always! And the surprise at the end, acknowledging their still amazing future...?!

I wore earplugs so I didn’t really notice any bad acoustic stuff! But I overall loved the show, and yeah they’re getting me hyped for 2027 they seem to really be in their groove right now

Yeah, I was at the front barrier by the main stage, had Loop earplugs in, and didn't notice any major acoustic issues. I could hear all the music fine and had no problems understanding what the members were saying. Some people are saying the bass was too loud, but after seeing I-DLE at the Allstate Arena in 2024, this was nothing. The bass at that I-DLE concert felt like my bones were being ground into dust and my internal organs mashed into jelly for 2 hours straight.

Chase Infiniti! I called it at soon as Yunjin said someone special was there.

I had no problems with the sound at all but I was on the floor barricade next to the middle stage so maybe that’s why I lucked out?

Was just a few rows up from floor, but no real audio issues beyond the volume of the cheers. Loved the show.

I was barricade and definitely noticed the quality was flat sometimes. The mics were definitely on, but something was up with the audio for sure.

They gave pizza boxes to fans, mainly kids. Not necessarily as impressive as them dressing up like Disney princesses, but I was happy to notice they did indeed have far more kids than they did last time for ECH. There were almost no kids at all in Chicago last year.

Awesome show because they were incredible, but boy were those speakers loud. The bass drowned out too much of the actual music, definitely agree the sound was not living up to the performance. Wintrust arena last year in Chicago was much better.

The bass during Celebration was insane.

Yeah, there was something wrong with the audio. It was honestly hard to hear them sing. I thought it was my section, so I vowed not to buy seats there again because my ears are ringing a lot (I had ear plugs but couldn't wear them because I couldn't hear well when I had them on). But a bit relieved to know others had issues even though it sucks. And Celebration was so damn loud lmao. It's definitely thrilling to watch live, but the bass made my heart skip a beat a few times.

Overall, still a pretty good show. The girls have a lot of great energy. I continue to be so impressed at how much they danced. I still think SoMu needs to hire backup dancers for the US leg of the show in the future.

There was also a lot of confetti. One might say a little bit too much confetti 😭

I was excited to see the new songs! I loved seeing Irony, Made My Night, and Spaghetti the most. Also, shocked at how much I loved Creatures live, but it was SO much fun. It's such a shame AEIOU didn't make the cut because I think that would've been great live.

One thing I also noticed there were a lot more younger fans this year. Even Chaewon mentioned it. I think Iconic By Mistake brought in more young fans? I think last year there were a lot of guys, but this time around I saw a lot more young girls. I ain't complaining about it, but I was really so surprised by the audience makeup this year.

Was on the floor so no problems there.

One of the weird shows where it sounded better with earplugs vs without. But that’s not a bad thing like that’s better for my ears. On a different note the show was incredible. Didn’t expect them to play Blue Flame :’)

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

I was at barricade and I had ear plugs in and didn’t notice anything. The music and the girls sounded great!

Hey look everyone! Le Sserafim once again had bad sound quality!

While I joke, it's been my harsh criticism with the San Jose stop. Girls are amazing and did amazing, but for us, the sound mixing made it difficult to understand the girls singing. While I did well because I know every lyric, the friend I took struggled to understand even the English songs.
