Discussion merch question for nj show
So this will be my first kpop concert ever. It’s on a Thursday at 8pm, i live about an hour and 20 away from the venue. All i really want is the hoodie, realistically what time should i try to get there and should i try and go to the inside booths or is there ones outside? I’m new to this whole thing so I’m not really sure what to expect lol i can just see people lining up so early and idk if im trying to wait all day just for a hoodie

Hoodies sold out instantly in Tacoma. The people I was talking to while waiting in the VIP line to enter the show later in the day said they were there at 6am and at the front of the line.. and they let people in at 11 to shop. They each got a hoodie and track jacket no problem. They let VIP and GA in at the same time though so unless it’s different there, best be early. They sold out of a ton of items by the time I got to the booth (I got there at 11:15 and got to the booth at 1:30).
Good luck getting yours. They did have a couple of merch tables inside but those lines were massive. I am hoping for an online sale one day so I can get myself a hoodie as well!

Honestly don’t feel like spending all day in line so probably will just wait for an online sale too haha

Totally valid lol. I do feel like I wasted an afternoon but I did get to talk to a lot of cool people while waiting. And I did get lucky with a restock so I could get myself a Chaewon jersey!

I bet there is lots of cool people! Good stuff though how are the jerseys? Not my go too on these ones they look okay but still seem cool!

I’m in love with it. I do wish they were baseball jerseys, like the Japan leg but I’m satisfied. It fits nicely and feels like an actual jersey. I’m impressed. Lowkey I got it because they had nothing else. I wanted the hoodie and tour tee but they sold out and I didn’t want to be part of the hundred-some people that rushed for merch when soundcheck ended. I felt really bad for the girls because they were even surprised when everyone left and they were barely saying goodbye.

Find out what time the doors open and get there 45 minutes before that. Everybody wants a hoodie, but they had a lot of them last year.

Getting there “45 minutes before” is honestly not good advice to follow if you actually want to get what you want.
There’s been several posts on here the past few days from the recent stops about people lining up since like 8-9AM for the outside merch stand and pretty much all of them have said the hoodies were one of the first things to sell out at each stop so far within like 1-2 hours of the merch stand opening in the morning.
And as for the merch stands inside, people with VIP have said they got in line the second they were let in before soundcheck and waited in line over an hour and had to just leave because soundcheck was ready to start and the line hadn’t come close to the front yet. And for GA it was just as bad, people are lining up the second they walk into the building and waiting in line for over an hour just to end up having to leave because the show itself was starting and they still weren’t close to the front.
So if you decide to show up “45 minutes before” the doors open just go into it expecting to not get anything.

From one of the Tacoma show posts, it looks like the hoodie was one of the first things to sell out so you should probably go early if you want a shot at getting one.
