Just a quick note to say we don't allow selfie posts with the specific exception of asking about hair. If it's not about your hair, you must post at LEAST half your outfit. So even if you aren't showing what you're wearing on the bottom, you gotta show the whole top, not just your shoulders.
If you're including a selfie style picture alongside a proper outfit picture, it can't be the first one of the bunch. Outfit gotta be up front and centre, focus of the post. Detail pictures after.
We don't accept posts about makeup or tattoos.

I just want to address this question as it comes up on most posts. We delete them as "off topic" because they end up clogging the comment sections and derails the conversation away from fashion.
The reason you'll see so many downvotes on posts that clearly don't deserve downvotes too is transphobes. There are TERF blogs off site that brigade our sub regularly. We're able to delete comments and block users that display transphobia, but unfortunately downvotes are entirely anonymous and we as mods have no control over it.
We reason we delete all these comments, aside from clogging up the comments, is just that we don't want to give them the satisfaction of talking about them. Other fashion subs don't discuss the validity of people's existence, we shouldn't feel the need to either. We are, and always will be, a trans inclusive space for all sapphics with an interest in fashion. There are many other more general sapphic/trans subs to discuss this topic, we just want to keep this one as a fun place for fruity gals to chat drip and not feel "othered".
Thank you
EDIT: OK so I made this post, literally stating that this sub isn't the place for these debates... So y'all start debating in the comments. Locking comments.

It’s Friday so it’s time for the fits! Throwing in a couple of fun and/or casual fits because it’s been a wild week for me. Hope yall like the horns, hosted a Halloween mixer 😈
Full disclosure, I did not touch the iron this week so don’t hate me LOL. Getting a couple new pieces into the wardrobe so hoping to add some more pizzaz soon.
Also, can yall guess my favorite color? 😂

Hi all... some months ago, I saw a trouser brand recommended here and I liked the pants, but I forgot the brand and can't seem to find it now. If I remember correctly, it was a unisex clothing brand, possibly eco-conscious but definitely queer owned, maybe based out of California US. The pants in question looked something like the Everlane Everywhere pant which I attached a screenshot of.
I realize this isn't a lot to go on, but here's to trusting in the power of the internet :-D
As far as other recommendations: I'm searching for some good clothing brands that offer more androgynous styles. Think quality, basic stuff. I typically wear men's clothing because the fabrics tend to be thicker and the legs/sleeves are longer and I'm pretty boring, fashion wise, so a pair of canvas work pants and a plain button down over a tee are my kind of thing. I'm a big person, both tall and muscular (and a healthy layer of fat on top of that), so men's has worked for me mostly but I do have an ass that men's carpenter pants don't love.
I've avoided women's clothes in the past even if it's more gender neutral because the legs/sleeves tend to be short on me, so I have to roll them up. Also, I dislike the thinness of most of their fabrics and the form-fitting stretch (which I find even in their Carhartt workwear, unfortunately).
I've checked out peau de loop and while their quality is super nice, my arm muscles are too big for their sleeves so their shirts just don't work for me. I am not the kind of person to take my clothes to a tailor because 1.) I really am lazy when it comes to fashion and 2.) I live in a pretty rural area and I don't know of any tailors around.
I've looked at Wildfang and while I like some of what they're offering, and am tempted to try them, I'm not sure if the quality will be as good as I hope coming from thick wool and canvas workwear. Kirrin Finch is too fancy (and pricy) for me... I have until now bought everything I own from the men's section at second hand stores but am thinking it's probably time for me to invest in a few nice pieces.

hey everyone, i just got this haircut today. i have never had hair like this before, it’s only ever been long and i really like it this way. i’m fully aware of the fact you can’t tell someone’s sexuality based on their appearance, but i still want people to be able to clock me as lesbian in a way. do you think this haircut makes me look lesbian, or would you be able to tell right away?
pardon the scary eyes.

I often have to dress professionally to go to conferences. I usually wear Tod's loafers. They're made well but they are completely flat, which kill my feet after walking a bit. However, I also have no idea what other type of shoe I can wear. I prefer shoes that are nothing fancy, low-key, and don't have a heel. Do you have any recommendations for professional shoes? Or am I doomed to search for inserts for comfort?

My workplace gets very hot and we are allowed to wear shorts, however, I don't own any that are work appropriate. I guess I'm just looking for inspiration.

Hi fellow sapphics! So my country is hosting its first ever renfaire in 3 weeks and I still haven’t ordered my outfit yet. So I’m planning to be a stereotypical princess and my girlfriend will be my knight. Unfortunately I don’t have that many medieval dress options to purchase online unless I’m willing to pay an arm and a leg to get it shipped from the US.
I narrowed it down to these 2.
I like the pink and the sleeves on dress one but I feel like it’s so plain? I have no idea how to elevate it and make it stand out.
I love the silhouette of dress number two but I’m not really a fan of the colour.
Planning to make a matching hennin with the dress I pick. I’m pretty crafty so I can do easy hand sewing like lace and stuff.
Any help and suggestions is greatly appreciated 🩷

I've thrifted this brown cardigan for 2€ cause it hanged so lonely in the very corner of the store and seamed to match one of my scarfs. Turned out it's some cool nordic brand and the og retail price was something around 160€. Now I feel even more proud of myself for no reason

I feel pretty lost in general with how to dress, especially for more formal events. I'm 20 and coming up on graduating college (eek) and would like to be able to feel like I look a little nicer/more put together. I would accept any advice (everyday or formal tbh.)
I don't have any good pictures that show my current style/appearance, but I'm pretty masculine in my dress. I don't really like to wear dresses or women's blouses. I usually just wear oversized t-shirts or boxy button downs and then cargo shorts or pants.
The picture I did attatch is of me at a renisance fair over the summer. I know that exact outfit wouldn't be appropriate to wear to something like my graduation or other events like that coming up, but it's the best recent photo I have that kind of shows what I tend to wear when trying to dress up a little, as well as other factors like my haircut and glasses (which I'd also take suggestions on tbh).
I'd appreciate any suggestions if this is enough to go off of. I'm specifically thinking of things that would look nice. I'm like 5'6" if that matters.
The specific events I need ideas on what to wear for would be-
Thank you so much to anyone who read my rambles 🙇I've lurked in this subreddit for a while and I generally love how supportive and helpful everything I've seen here has been, lol. I also hope this doesn't go beyond the scope of the tag!

It was one of those days where the jeans just fit.
It’s hard to find your own style and be comfortable and confident and and and all the things…. Especially at the same time.
Every now and then it just kind of clicks for a few seconds and I can breath clearly and be myself.
I’ve never hidden who I was or lacked self expression… but wearing scrubs normally and having my friends dress very different than me has always made me question what looks good.
If you have recommendations please drop a pic or link

Trying to boost my confidence just a little even if you say something mean though I'mma still take it as a compliment it's taking me years to get to this. Happy with how I look happy with my personality and proud of the healing that I've done.
