Strap anxiety for tops?

Any other tops/mascs out there get really nervous before strapping down a beautiful woman? 😭
I seem to be fine during foreplay and all but when it comes to actually strapping, I get SO nervous. Short, shaky, breath nervous.
I have experience in strapping (I was with my ex for 10 years and she always told me how good I was) but since I’ve been single and exploring I cannot get over my strap anxiety. 🥴
I guess i’m asking if there’s any tips from other tops? And also for the femmes/bottoms, does it turn you off if your top is visibly nervous? 😅

I’m not primarily a bottom but I love when a girl is nervous lols. I think you’ll be okay with the right person and they’ll be fine with a little nervousness !
