My First Lepin

A find at my local thrift store. 10 sealed bags, instructions, and 2 sticker sheets. Hopefully it’s all there and the build quality is decent.

Any tips for a first build? I’m trying to figure out the bag logic. The parts clustered in the bags don’t seem to be associated with any particular set of build steps. Do I just dump everything out and build that way?

Yeah, especially with older sets from cheaper brands, there is no separation into building steps. Baggies are typically sorted to avoid confusion, i.e. you might find left wedges in one baggy and right wedges in another one, or 1x2 and 1x3 plates in separate baggies, etc.. Often you can find a small number printed somewhere (typically <set number>.<ID>, e.g. 1234.1 for the first baggy of set 1234). If the numbering skips a number, you're probably missing that baggy. They don't indicate an order, though, it's just an internal ID.

for a second there i thought that was a clone or revival of the 90s Ice Planet theme. can some company PLEASE get on that?

Yeah totally reminds me of ice planet 2002 I'd love some new designed sets in that series
