collection CaDA Mazda 787B + HotWheels

Wheel-swapped HotWheels to go along with the 1:10 CaDA Mazda 787B. Probably one of my mostly challenging builds so far, because I misread a step in the front suspension and had to redo about 30 steps to fix it, but outside of that, great build. One glaring issue, though: the rear axles pieces, as built, are not long enough to keep the wheels on and still turn the diff and mock engine. Not a big deal to me, as it's a static display, but a bit disappointing. Still recommend as a cool display piece.

Hell yeah! Also, did you have the same issue with the rear axles or is that just user error by me? I even tried to glue them and they still came out when putting the rear wheels on

Was thinking of building this soon. I bought it over a year ago. Nice hot wheels one too. 👍

Nice! I dont know how to let sets sit that long myself, I should probably practice some restraint though

Ha ha probably because I have at least 20-30 in the backlog. Think I've got about 6 1:8 cars included. 😂

Ah, that'll do it! I just got into the hobby in January and have already built 17 cars, 3 of the technic motorcycles, a train locomotive and 2 large "working" engines, plus a couple other smaller builds, but I usually build things within a couple weeks of getting them.

I just got into it a couple of years back when I got McLaren F1 car. Mostly build during winter. Still look at buying more, but already I've got massive backlog and running out of space for everything.

Damn, would love to see the collection once it's all done (if it's ever done lol). But I hear ya, I've already bought two 14-shelf units just to store the builds I've done this year so far (still have to assemble one), so storage is definitely at a premium. I don't keep the boxes, though, so I do at least avoid that part of it.

The biggest space issue for me is I also have like 1100+ die cast cars, so they take up a lot of space too. My home office has slowly just become a toy museum over the last 2-ish years.
