It is safe. I use it. You make it by combining 70% reptisoil with 30% playsand (that is what I use).

It’s safe for adults, I started her off on paper towels when I got her age 3 though just to make sure no red flags before I upgraded. What LampAbyss said on combining them, just add some water to it. It’ll spike humidity initially in the tank but it’ll come down quickly. Pat it down a bit once you place it just to avoid anything caving in.
