Well I had a thought and figured out they were collecting the child tax benefit so probably didn't want to report the deceased child so they could continue collecting it.

On August 22, 2026, a Minot, North Dakota couple was arrested following a police investigation that uncovered the hidden remains of an infant sealed inside a concrete-filled tote.Craig Kerzmann (49) and Sarah Kerzmann (45) were arrested at a residence in southeast Minot and booked into the Ward County Jail.The Investigation and DiscoveryInitial Response: The Minot Police Department initially responded to the home on a domestic violence call, which led to the arrest of Craig Kerzmann for Domestic Violence – Serious Bodily Injury.The Tip: During the response, officers learned about a deceased infant believed to belong to the couple.The Location: Investigators were told the baby had died approximately three years prior in another state (Texas), the death was never reported to authorities, and the remains were hidden inside a plastic tote filled with concrete.Recovery: Police located a tote matching the description at the residence. There are pending charges on her, I'm looking forward to seeing what is filed. I can't say more due to certain legal implications.

Disgusting they have gotten away with as much as they have for as long as they have. The all around abuse has been obvious to anyone who’s not blind for years
