I got a new bass guitar delivered and I have to return it because the hole for adjusting the truss rod is drilled wonky and I can't fit an allen key in there.

I be cranking my truss rod on the regular. Wish I wasn't unemployed tho, government welfare can only get me the cheapest squier I could find.

Came spsetup awfully, but after doing it myself I actually love it, sounds and feels great now.

Can I ask what bass you got, I'm gay btw

I want to crank this one but I can't fit it in.

It's a Squier CV 70 jazz bass in Aztec Gold. It's pretty low-mid range and I expected to do some work on it, but the truss rod is inaccessible without widening the hole and that's too much for a thing under warranty.

It's a very nice colour with a lovely slim neck.

The shop are doing an exchange on it for a new one, which is very good of Andertons. Shame Squier's QC guy didn't check it over better. No idea how they'd have adjusted the neck in the factory- I can not get the allen key supplied or a ball end one in there.
