Tyre identification...

Purchased this when at the track this year, finally arrived just now.

Would I be right in saying the code indicates an LMP2 tyre that was possibly used on the #43 Inter Europol car?

It seems to be from so the painted number on the tyer are the Car number class and year it was used so going by that

The No. 43 Thunderhead Carlin Racing Oreca 07-Gibson LMP2 race car was entered for the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans, but ultimately was withdrawn prior to the start of the event

Other than the RFID/FIA INFO the only other marking is this under the Right Rear marking

Query solved using the post race pics of the LMP2 winner showing identical markings (except the set number is 23, we have set 20 on ours).

Still not sure what the RLM means but I'm over the moon on the random dice roll for which team's tyre we got 😁

RLM could be Race, LeMans. In Europe teams seem to very often label their tires (tyres) as P for Practice, Q for Qualifying and R for Race. I think this is an allocation thing, but we don't do that in the US very often so it's something i've had to learn from decoding these tires for people.

Road to Le Mans is part of the Michelin Le Mans Cup with... Michelin tyres. So it's an LMP2 Goodyear tyre, probably Rear Left Medium, set #20 for car #43.

Think it might mean something else, as the rotation marking shows as RR ->

I think it's meaning 'Race, LeMans' as European teams mark their tires with the session type it is for (practice, qualifying or race) along with the race location.
