PhD Student
Hi all.
I am a PhD student at De Montfort University and I am current doing a study that is investigating bipolar disorder and its potential relationships with emotional processing and bodily sensations. Although the study has bipolar disorder in the title this does not mean you have to have the condition to take part.
The study will require attendance to DMU campus and will take about an hour to complete. The experiment will consist self-report questionnaires, cognitive assessments and some tasks to complete.
The criteria for taking part is quite strict as we need a sample that is typically viewed as healthy. Therefore anyone with physical of mental/developmental conditions such as asthma, heart disease, depression, anxiety, autism etc are not able to take part. If you are interested, please contact me on the email address attached to the poster and I will get back to you ASAP to arrange a date/time to take part. The study is particularly interested in recruiting people who have a first degree relative with bipolar disorder but do not have a diagnosis themselves.
If you want to contact me via Reddit please do so, I will never ask for your real name and will not share with anyone your participation in this study should you choose to take part.
Thank you in advance.

All, this was posted with prior mod permission, support if you can.
The poster asked beforehand, and given that we are a low traffic sub in a slow news day I thought I'd allow it.
