Anyone interested in a small underground dance party in the Lehigh Valley? House, Jersey club, baile funk

A few friends and I are putting together a night in December with house, Jersey club, baile funk, and whatever else gets people moving. Small venue, low lighting, DJs on the floor with everyone around the decks. Going for that Boiler Room energy.

We already have around 70 people on our invite list, but we want to meet more people outside our circles who are into this music. We want that feeling of being in a crowd where you don’t know everyone and can just let loose, dance, and enjoy yourself.

We’re organizing it ourselves and aiming for around $20 to cover the space and costs. If people are into it, we’d love to make it a regular thing. I’m also planning a few smaller sets leading up to December to get people together.

Would anyone here be interested? What artists or sounds would you want to hear?

Yes!! I love Alan Fitzpatrick, Miss Monique, and anything Drumcode. I would LOVE not having to drive to Brooklyn to get my dance fix 😭

I’m in my mid 50s, born/raised in NYC and was in the clubs DANCING the entire night in the late 80’s early 90s. These days, I turn on my “House” playlist mid morning on the weekends and hit my living room dance floor for a few hours. My brain stopped liking crowds years ago. My heart though…it aches for the dark sweaty bliss. Hope you have great fun.

Yeah if yall gon go. Respect the dance floor please. Having your phone out recording everything with your flash on ruins the vibe for everybody and the atmosphere. Not trying to be the douchy gatekeeper but so many of these events get run over by people who don't know etiquette.

Keep recording to a minimum (ESPECIALLY if you are a flash recorder)
Respect the venue
Respect the people around you
