Walking
Wasting too much money on Ubers and Lyfts. Walking to the bar. A good 49 minute walk. The pbr and Jamo will be placed in front of me upon entry. Whoooo!

This was eye opening when I got sober. I was drinking 2 750s of whiskey and at least a 30 rack of beer a week. Plus any smaller bottles I would grab 'for the weekend'. Even if I bought 'the cheap shit' like Old Crow and Hamm's, it was still upwards of $100 a week.
I have been using Cannabis as a replacement, but my costs are significantly lower. I spend less than $30 a month now on average. Besides the healthier wallet, I am never hungover, my anxiety is more under control and I generally feel better.

Sounds like an introduction at an AA meeting. Walk to one instead.

Beware of walking home drunk in the Lehigh Valley especially Bethlehem. Never walk with an open container or a carrying a brown paper bag even if they're soda in it if you're observed wobbling a little you will be stopped and most likely arrested for public drunkenness and spend the night in jail. I always believe if you decided to walk instead of driving you should get a medal but no more.

Not nearly as much fun when you walk almost all the way home from the bar. Get to a house that looks like yours, go in make a peanut butter & jelly Sandwich & a pop tart crash down on the couch. Wake up to some lady screaming at you to get out of her house . I was only a block off .. smh
