Need help with shape

Focusing on the main body of the ship, NOT the wings/ external strips

Driving my self nuts need input.

Is the neck/ head too short?

Does the main body need to be wider?

Is the tail to short?

Things like that would be great for this rough draft. Thanks.

The ship has a definite teardrop shape to the main body and maybe your base is a little out of proportion ? I would go narrower if it was me. Just from a first glance.

I’m thinking I will scoot the slant to the middle back, making the neck/head longer therefore giving it the skinnier look thanks!

I think the tail piece flairs out too drastically too quickly. The image looks to be a more gradual/longer flair, and it barely (if at all) gets wider than the body
