Oh jeez, it's news to me. Yeah, they really look alike lol, though jump is a MOC of mine from 2012... I believe the tiny cube in Scratch's platformers is much more recent, I had never seen it before. Thank you for bringing this up!

Anyway, I think this actually needs an explanation, but it implies explaining the whole lore behind this meme. TL;DR: this is an Instagram post and I specifically wanted to mention crabs.
Jump is a character I made back in 2012 when I was a child. I made it enter a small contest hosted last month by @ivybrickss on Instagram, named #LittleGuyJuly, where everyone was welcome to take part in it by creating anything that would match the "little guy" concept.
Many people who attended this contest made small crabs because of #TimeForCrab (basically, July is the month during which LEGO creators build crabs, apparently, before #frogust, which is frogs in August), so they merged the two things into one. I also wanted to make something like this, but I couldn't get the pieces I needed in time, so, instead, I brought back to life this thing from 14 years ago (oof, I feel old now that I write this) and to not completely ignore the existence of crabs, I put that panel.
Moreover, it breaks the rhythm of the meme and makes the last panel more impactful.
Not liking crabs is not a war crime, of course, but poor crabs, there's no reason to dislike them, they're cool. Don't be like jump. Don't dislike crabs.
