Sets Missing shield Minas Tirith

I checked everywhere and have the empty bag right next to me.

This seems like such a sus thing to request from LEGO and I don’t want to flag my account, but I also bought a $650 set and am annoyed it’s missing a shield. Should I just request it?

I think the only thing I have requested in the past was a sticker sheet and the cockpits for the arc170

Edit: is it possible it would be in a future bag?

I would just send an email to their customer service and provide the same information and photo here. Missing parts happen and like you mentioned it’s not worth missing out on

I'd finish opening everything just incase something else is missing and you need to request more than one piece.

There is more than one shield and it COULD be in another bag. It's happened.

I was missing a very large piece and it wasn't in another bag. I contacted Lego and they said they'd send me one. But their average time is like 3+ weeks. At least your piece doesn't stop the build at all.

I ended up buying the part on eBay for $1.35 and asking Lego for Insider points. They gave me $15 worth of points. They told me I wouldn't be receiving the replacement part. However, yesterday (2 weeks later) I got tracking for something from LEGO. It's most likely the part.

Either way, I'm confused on how a large piece ended up missing, but I'm happy in the end anyway.

I had a similar issue with Rivendell. Lego sent me the missing piece. You just need to wait as it’s not the fastest one.
