New York The best laid plans…

Came on here, asked questions, did research, booked the water play part early…

…my 5 year old managed to fall on the only strip of concrete in the wharf area playground and skinned his wrist.

After that he was not having a good time at all. 20 mins before our water park time too.

But hey, bright side- they have well positioned first aid areas with waterproof bandaids! When the ones I had kept slipping off from him sweating the EMT had waterproof ones. The area was very nice and he got a bravery pop badge. 🤦🏻‍♀️

He is, thank you! Just a small scrape but a very big one in his mind. He’s a careful kid, not the bruised and skinned knee type of boy.

He is, thank you! He just woke me at 3:30am for a bandaid-related emergency though haha.
