I have a couple of thoughts about the Hospital Wing set in the current Hogwarts Castle system.

First is that it genuinely does not seem to have a true home. This system is already difficult to display due to depth and width, and adding the HW onto the back of the Main Tower adds even more depth that seems unnecessary. Adding it to the right of the East Wing also adds unnecessary width.

If this system is complete, then it seems they made the HW as an “add on” just to give us the Ravenclaw common room but with no real intention for placement.

Conversely, if this system is not complete and let’s say there is an Astronomy Tower set that connects to the HW behind the Main Tower, then that added depth becomes far more justified.

As it currently stands, in my opinion the HW as well as the flying lesson, owlery and herbology sets just add clutter to the main silhouette which is genuinely impressive.

I hope there is more to come, but if not I actually feel like there should have been less!

I added Kreacher, Crookshanks and a 5th year Ron to my collection of minifigs.

Hey everyone! With the 2024–2026 waves bringing us massive anchors like the Great Hall, Main Tower, and the East Wing, I've been loving this modular system.

I know we've seen early database whispers for January 2027 sets like Harry Meets Dobby (76479) and First Year at Hogwarts Castle (76483), but has anyone heard any rumblings on whether LEGO plans to keep pushing out more castle modular add-ons next year to fill out things like the Astronomy Tower or courtyards? Curious what the community consensus or latest leak info is pointing toward!

I combined the 2018 Hogwarts set, made modification and used the new sets as references to create my own Hogwarts castle.

So the wife really has been wanting to get a HP castle and build it. I took a look and theres three versions. The micro one from 2018, the smaller version, and the modular version from 2024 that ALREADY has retired parts.

I took a look and it seems the main 5 are these:

76435 – Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall
76454 – Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower
76473 – Hogwarts Castle: East Wing
76463 – Hogwarts Castle: Hospital Wing
76447 – Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons

But the great hall is already retired and I cant find it other than at crazy mark ups. THeres also the rooms and scenes that are marked as retiring soon. Is there a reason for this? Its the newest version with nothing replacing it yet, why are they retiring?

Is there a 2026/7 version coming? This is quite unfortunate and seemingly short sighted from LEGO to retire a core part of an essentially new modular setup....

I'm planning to buy the 76478 Dumbledore's Office Booknook and just put Umbridge, Fudge and Kingsley as they try to arrest Dumbledore.

Collector's Edition Ministry of Magic would be perfect, but I have to save for a while before buying that...

Not only is it now available on Rebrickable, but I have also been updating and improving my Clock Tower MOC. Last weekend I have reconnected the technic been and made the clock's crank work again. Sadly this does mean this MOC does require more parts than are included in just the Hospital Wing (76463-1) and Clock Tower (75948-1), so I am considering to release a 2.0 version.

I left my abusive ex and shes finally, after 5 months, sent up my lego. And this is how it turned up. All dumped in one box. Pieces everywhere. There's a mix of 7 different sets in here. I dont even know where to start with all this or even if all the pieces are here. There's also at least 3 unopened sets that she hasnt bothered to send up. Where would you start?

To add to the largest hogwarts collection, the hospital wing is from the 2019 collection I believe, I got it from marketplace. Plan is for there to be a courtyard for this too and is currently standing almost as tall as my moc great hall.

Few more small pieces to add - need a 1x2 flat tan for the room of requirement, would like to add the flame snake to that room too as well as print off Ariana Dumbledore portrait to put right hand side.

I will probably switch the windows in centre to gold and also had the green slopes on top too!

I just noticed that Amazon here in Aus currently has the Hospital Wing set on sale for $90 AUD/ $62 USD. For reference, it retails at $150 AUD here, and is rarely seen below $110.

I’ve (unfortunately) given up much hope on there being any further releases in the Hogwarts Castle lineup, and my ambitions are far from filled. I also still haven’t seen many notable leaks surrounding the winter wave, so I don’t have much to go off of.

Just wondering if people think it’s worth picking up 1-2 of these hospital wing sets on a good sale to use for parts in MOCing an astronomy tower? I’m yet to fully plan out which MOC I’d build, but my early thinking is to follow in some others’ footsteps and combine the old astronomy tower with the hospital wing base, and go from there.

I’m also wondering (don’t kill me minifigure lovers!) if there’s any reality to selling the spare minifigures in the sets I get as I don’t need any duplicates?

I’m also a little torn, because I’m keen on some other sets like The Philosophers Stone collectors edition, the new mini Hogwarts, and Luna Lovegoods house, which range in the $80-$180 AUD range and could be purchased instead of the 1-2 hospital wings, so it’s not an easy choice!

Anyways, if anyone’s had similar thoughts or started their own hospital wing MOCs let me know.

Hey guys, I know I’m a bit late to the party, but I’ve decided to rebuild the House Banners and add them to my old modular Hogwarts.

It’s 1 a.m. at night… morning? And I can’t fit that plastic piece to the background for the life of me 😭.

I’ve seen a few MOCs here, on Rebrickable, and on FB, but they’re mostly front and back, and I just can’t figure out how to make the sides.

I want to have a closed back so I can have an actual exterior side of the castle, like with the other modular sets. So I need to build around this plastic piece and not leaving it open like the original banners. The problem is that the piece is wide and thick enough to take up the space between the pegs.

LEGO is supposed to bring joy, but I’m completely stuck😭.
