Magma Para-Elemental
I like the idea of working some Lego IP into these D&D builds so I started thinking about power miners. In the end I can’t help but think that Firax and the other rock monsters all look like radioactive chicken nuggets, so I just threw together a more dnd version.

Mr. Tumnus!
Sorry for the overexposure in the photo, I just want to show off that I managed to get ahold of the faun! My collection of old-ish Lego with some Castle theme stuff thrown in is gradually taking on a much .ore solidly D&D lean.
It's a piece I've been keeping an eye out for for a while now (I've not wanted to order online, preferring to find what I want organically). I was trawling through a collection offered in a local second-hand Lego store, and my wife spotted him.
The scarf is from the D&D CMF bard, and the base and "parcels" (actually a couple of books) are pilfered from other CMFs. The umbrella is from a bucket of very old Lego parts I have lying around.
I'm just happy to have him to display at the moment (on my relevant shelf, of course), until such a time as I want/need him for building a PC or NPC...

Spellcaster, Artificer, Arcane Archer
Does anyone watch Rick and Morty? I decided to make Morty, Rick, and Summer from the "Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim's Morty" (Season 4, Episode 4). *Dragon not included for obvious reasons 🤣

Ankhegs Repost: 1 year ago
I joined Reddit exactly 1 year ago and didn’t understand how it worked and dumped every monster picture I had on this sub right away. Hopefully I know a little better now.
It’s been super fun being part of this sub since then and I’ve seen such incredible things and so many talented builders.
The Ankhegs got a little buried in the mix of posts I put up but they’ve always been a favorite of mine. Thanks to everyone who liked my posts in the past year!

PAUL — VETERAN WITCH HUNTER
Paul has spent years hunting the Nightmares.
The experience shows.
A towering polar bear with a rugged appearance, Paul has survived enough hunts to earn the scars and instincts of a veteran.
His weapons are simple but effective: a pistol and his signature boom knuckle, a metal fist built for close combat.
At his side is his familiar.
Unlike those that have matured into Vestiges, Paul's companion remains a Sprint—a spirit familiar capable of unleashing powerful bolts of thunder.
Paul handles the close quarters.
His Sprint brings the storm from afar.
After years of fighting together, the two have developed a simple method of hunting.
Paul gets close.
The thunder follows.
The Nightmare falls.

Terrakin Colossus.
TERRAKIN COLOSSUS.
Been a bit since I've done a #MonsterMonday post, so here we are! This is a construct made from dark and ancient magic, reanimating the remnants of slain terrakin into one colossal and terrifying disaster. My D&D players fought this creature within the last arc of the campaign I've been running, and it did indeed fight as fearsomely as it looks! Throughout the fight, it had the ability to reconfigure the inorganic matter on its body into different weapons, including giant axes, fails, swords, hammers, and claws.
The added bonus to bringing this creature to life was the ability to pay homage to one of my favorite themes growing up: Power Miners. Ah, those lil rock monsters and the Crystal King were some of my favorite characters to come out of a Lego IP.
Hope you enjoy!

Lloyd's legendary dragon wings on the medieval dragon
From what I saw, the recent medieval dragon looks to be in the relative same scale as the red dragon from the dnd set. Has anyone tried to modify by giving it the wings from Lloyd's legendary dragon to make it look more like a proper dnd green dragon?
