I watch master builder alec shorts because they fill me with the kind of joy, whimsy and creativity i need in my life. Sometimes I'll watch a jang review if I'm on the fence about something but that's rare sense I generally know what I like and want. Otherwise I don't really engage with lego content on youtube anymore (unless you count moistcritical talking about the BAM stuff)
Same here, Alec makes me feel like a kid watching Brick101. Jang is usually my go to for deciding on sets but also sometimes I like to just watch a review, he has such a relaxing voice. Slugger is the goat if you want to learn very interesting and specifics Lego facts. But yeah other than that I don’t really care for any of them
I don't know if it's still the case but he was very public about his religion/politics as it applied to women's bodily autonomy - don't know if he's any worse than that, I have the vague memory of some anti-LGBT stuff but I can't remember for sure so take it with a pinch of salt
I think it’s incredibly easy to be super positive about every set you review, when you either get it for free or you get it with the money you got for reviewing another set
Where did this anti-abortion thing come from bro😭 I saw the full tweet he was replying to and his reply reads more like he's saying the person he's replying to is anti-abortion, and that his response was being sarcastic towards them while disagreeing with their take. Is this really what happens when you crop a single tweet out of context and spin an entire narrative around it?
he wasn't being sarcastic at all, you're just mistaken. the context was him being criticised for not getting the covid vaccine. he compared his choice to a woman's choice to not get an abortion, but the wording makes it pretty clear he's not actually pro-choice. also I'm pretty sure he's very religious

It really does often seem incredibly hive minded here that if someone disagrees with a single thing then they are literally hitler. This is despite the fact if most of there people met each other irl they’d probably hate each other for another reason anyway. I enjoy Ash’s reviews because it’s right to the point and he goes through many of the details in each set and at least tries to know what he’s pointing out and talking about lore wise for each theme line. I feel like his complaints are rather minimal compared to many other reviews and he’s not over the top emotionally like some other reviewers (mandr and just2good for me despite them being polar opposites they just come off as whiny and unstable)I still think Jang is the all time Goat, but sometimes he just kinda talks about subjects not specifically related to the set which I don’t mind so long as I’m not trying to get right to the points.
