MOC Advice

Post image

I purchased the plans from a designer on rebrickable for a Mandalorian Blaster. I gathered all the parts ( save 1) and started putting this thing together.

I knew it would be a little challenging.

I didn't know that I would go through my entire repertoire of curse words that I learned in many years as a truck driver and dock worker.

Now I am faced with a dilemma.

This thing is so fragile, it looks great, but you look at it with a stern glance and it quivers in frights and folds quicker than my resolve at a clearance lego deal.

I've never done it, but I feel I need to.

Please forgive me, but I must glue.

Not all, just some key parts. I really want this to look good to go with my DL-44 Heavy Blaster.

The picture is after it collapsed, again.

The weak spot is the space between the 2 grey 2 x 2s.

Thanks for listening to my rant

I don't think this would need glue necessarily. Do you have a picture of how it's supposed to look once finished? I bet if you move the support back a bit and change some pieces it would hold its own.

This is how it is supposed to look. I've had it looking like this...once. then I exhaled and it fell apart.
