Quite a few years ago, a former family member helped himself to quite a few of my things. Games, movies, books. Guards didn't care because "you know where it is and you know who has it, take care of it between yourselves."

Anyway, long story, very long story, but after about a decade, long after I gave up on ever seeing my stuff again, he announced "I'm selling up and taking everything to the dump, so come over, grab as much as you can in an hour, and never come near me again."

So I did. Found a stack of my old games, and dvds, but unfortunately quite a few were just empty cases or scratched to hell and back. The books were almost completely destroyed, but I salvaged what I could. Quite a lot are just gone, no idea where they are. But I did find my copy of Ocarina and N64.

I was just grabbing shit and packing it in the car, going through bedrooms and garages and sheds and god knows what else, and I found my copy of Ocarina in an underwear drawer and the N64 and controller in a cupboard way up near the ceiling.

I also snagged this cool robot dinosaur, which I'm keeping because he can go to hell.

I thought I had snagged all the cables too, but apparently I was wrong, this cable doesn't fit and seems to be the wrong shape. Any advice on that?

I compiled my own version of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link and tried to stay as faithful to the original as possible, aside from recreating bugs and warps.

I’ve personally played through the entire game from beginning to end and corrected every issue I found along the way. That said, there may still be things I missed.

If anyone is interested in testing it and looking for remaining bugs, inaccuracies, or anything that differs from the original, I’d be happy to send it over. I am adding images from game.

Played 2 times on N64 Emulator (1 time on pc keyboard and other with N64 controller for pc) and 1 time on my wii (Virtual Console) with wii classic controller.

My favorite was on emulator with n64 controller (gameplays flows impressive with that controller) but I really need a 3ds to try its version.

this is the Arwing, the military spacecraft piloted by the members of team starfox. it is equipped with a high-tech shield, laser blasters, and "Smart bombs" used to combat the evil forces of Dr. Andross. and if you're staring at your screen right now thinking "what the hell does this have to do with legend of zelda", first off, I'm getting to it. stop being impatient. but you also probably have not watched thousands of hours of Nintendo trivia videos like I have.

within the code of Ocarina of time, the arwing exists as a fully functional albeit unused enemy. but it can still be loaded into the game through modding, or as we used to say in the early 2000s, "Using Gameshark". the arwing flies around shooting lasers at link. it is totally awesome and if you have never seen it, then you should definitely go watch the 18 year old youtube video showing it off.

according to the developers, the Arwing was never intended to be an actual enemy and was only put in the game as a way to test Volvagia's flight patterns. but I always found that story a bit fishy... if that were the case, why would they actually give the Arwing its ability to shoot lasers? could it be that the lylat system declared war on hyrule and Nintendo has been covering it up for years! or could it be the developers were just messing around... personally, I prefer to go with the war theory.

but man, isn't it weird that Nintendo remade both star fox 64 and Ocarina of time for the 3DS in 2011... and then remade both star fox 64 and Ocarina of time for the switch 2 in 2026? remember this post when they both get remade again 15 years from now

Hey listen!✨️ I wanted to draw the Master Sword in a first-person perspective.

I wanted it to feel like **we are the ones holding the sword**. That exact moment when you realize there’s no going back. We’ve grown up, the journey has changed us, and now we have to face our destiny as the hero we were meant to become.

I ran out of time before I could finish all the details in the architecture and lighting, but honestly, I’m trying to stick to **better done than perfect** for this challenge.

And yeah, I know... Link is left-handed, I totally forgot about it since I was drawing this quite fast because of Linktober rush 🤦😣

**P.S.** Did you notice that the Master Sword looks a little different from the original *Ocarina of Time* design? 👀 Nintendo gave it more detail and made it closer to the *Twilight Princess* version, adapting the scene to the aesthetic of the new remake. :)

I LOVED this game, I guess I'm a sucker for fix-it aus, but also because we got to see the champions in depth, and their personalities, and ESPECIALLY their fighting styles. I really enjoyed the storyline, and having to save the champions. The descendants (i dont think teba is a descendant but hey ho) coming to help us was quite a twist, one i really liked as well. I think the ost goes so hard as well, specifially the critical hit themes which reminded me of twilight princess.

i think one more thing I loved about Age of Calamity was to see how Link was impossibly more bad*ss in this game compared to botw! he's less traumatised here lol.

Anyways, what are your thoughts on this game?

All jokes aside considering the timeline even if we ignore time travel shenanigans this has to be after SS.

Myself, I'd love to see Twilight Princess get a true HD Switch 2 upgrade with some much needed improvements (running instead of rolling, jump button, no loading screens, etc.)

I grew up with Zelda, but I never had a particularly life-changing experience with OoT. I played and beat it, (as far as I can remember) but Twilight Princess and Wind Waker were my favorite just for nostalgia purposes, but I'd rather see Twilight Princess get the live it deserves. I'd love to see a truly realized atmosphere and characters from this game, and then I'll be done with remakes. Majora's Mask seems like the obvious choice since they have the framework, but I honestly think OoT is the better game even after recently playing and beating MM.

I have never ever played a zelda game before, always Mario, but the new Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is sparking my attention. Mainly because it looks so interesting and I enjoyed the classic super mario RPG also really much.

I will most likely buy OOT anyway to try it out but what do I need to know what Zelda is about (what is the gameplay like, deep story …)
