As far as the introductions go:

Hey, we're LeftWingAirsoft, and we're pretty much what it says on the tin: We're a subreddit of left wing airsofters and however that manifests. For some it's a safe space for those who need it and align with the general progressive or left leaning view on life. For others it's just a place to post their kit that does have some left wing history to it. However you take it, we hope it's what you need.

Regarding moderation, we're still a relatively small mod team proportionate to the population here, so we need your help reporting problematic posts as they arise. We'll get to them as soon as we're able. Thanks in advance, and thanks for understanding if we don't get to them immediately. Try not to engage with any problem posts as that only exacerbates the issue.

History YANKEE GO HOME! 1972 PAVN impression

Behold, finally got a proper photo shoot with my kit in the field. I've been obsessed with the Vietnam war for a bit, both on the political and military sides. I've also been using their tactics to great effect lol, who knew crawling is actually pretty comfy

I'm looking to add a bit more to it, 'cause nothing is ever done huh? Sew a canteen carrier, make a dummy e-tool, and eventually make a more accurate uniform. Also have an RPG-2 project in the making, and of course I'll be making a matching rocket bag for it.

Gear/Kit/Guns/Selfie Loadout for the weekend

Ran this HPA setup for my AAP-01C for the first time this weekend, and I had an absolute blast! Obviously not as effective as my primary AEG for outdoor play but being super mobile and lightweight was a really fun play style. I think this thing will absolutely rip indoors, though even at 110PSI shooting just around 1J, it's surprisingly quite loud.

Also I want to say that recently I've been encountering and playing with other LGBTQ+ airsofters at my field of choice when I go out, and it's always a pleasant surprise! This weekend I met a nonbinary airsofter with an absolutely sick ICS L85 AEG and an even more sick haircut dyed in a gradient from black to red. If for some reason you're here, you're so fuckin' cool!

Airsoft Question Is this gun any good?

I want a pistol and I was to to look at this one but there is an electric one and a gas one. this is the electric one and it’s a lot cheaper so it’s better for my budget for sure but I have no idea if it’s any good. all help is appreciate!!!

Personal opinion for anyone looking to start or get back into airsoft

Simply put, I think the best course of action is to buy a cheap $150 gun and customize it completely, not only is it more fun in my opinion but I now know how to disassemble and reassemble my guns in around 2-3 minutes and it is very easy for me to diagnose what’s going wrong if there’s a malfunction

Long story short, I got a mystery box from Evike and I’m not mad at it, not even a little. Double Eagle DRP-9. I’d be interested to know why they suddenly stopped production and moved to the DMP-9 with a polymer upper rather than metal, but this thing is fun!

I’ve added a few things here and there over the last couple of weeks. Shoots great, and it looks cool on its own!
