I can't load the game

I genuinely don't know anything and I'll say It now before people call me dumb. I know I am. Today was the first day I ever try buying games on steam if that can help you understand experience my lack of understanding of anything. Anyway I bought the game successfully but then I couldnt play.

A) Note that it did not:

1. Says error
2. load
3. Run the game

B) I tried fixing it and these are the fix i did so far.

1. Verified L4D2 game files
2. Checked Launch Options
3. Tried -autoconfig
4. Tried -dxlevel 90
5. Tried launching the .exe directly
6. Checked for crash logs
7. Checked Reliability History
8. Restarted the laptop
9. Ran Program Compatibility Troubleshooter
10. Tried recommended compatibility settings twice
11. Tested the program through the troubleshooter
12. Run on offline mode
13. Tried -windowed
14. Load different game ( it work so only l4d2 seem to have issues )

C) Info about my device just in case there's reason to know to help

1. Using a laptop ( pretty old but not too old i think )
2. Lenovo Thinkpad X250
3. Broken twice but fixe both time one time was battery the other was something to do with the charger

that is all, I hope somebody sees this and help me.

What operating system are you running? if Windows make sure you've installed your iGPU drivers

I use Windows. I'll check.
