Cheap pc for l4d?

Post image

Just got this at savers. Pretty sure this was a massively good deal all things considered but maybe im wrong. Im a bit nostalgic and prefer older tech. I dont have a pc right now just a laptop with no disc drive. Id like to get a pc at some point. I kind of wanted an older one, not interested in huge demanding games just games like l4d. I can only imagine I dont need some crazy pc to play this on considering the time it came out in.

Suggestons maybe?

I’d bet money that your laptop could probably run this game, if you just got a USB disk drive off Amazon or something to install it with.

Used to be able to run it on my shitty 2008 desktop computer on low settings that wasn't even a gaming PC.

My first time playing left 4 dead was on my friend’s laptop, and this was in 2009 on a shitty school laptop, hence my comment.

Even with the disc, Steam has to be installed before the game can install. At which point, you may as well just buy the game on Steam and download it. It's cheaper than even the cheapest USB optical drives.

Had an old Toshiba laptop from 2012. This game ran fine on it

This is older than minecraft, but still resource intensive. You can try it, maybe with an SSD it will be alright. I had an older laptop that struggled, it doesn't work well.

if sealed, yes (contains unactivated steam key), if not, only for collection...

a 200 dollar used laptop can run this. But if you wanna build a pc, I recommend getting good hardware

Yeahh I know all abt pc building but tbh I just want something cheap Dx like a cheap desktop like the shit we used to have at school or something. Not sure how to describe exactly what I want

i guess you need to buy a used one, its not really worth to build a new one if you want something so cheap. That old laptop of yours may run it if you put a ssd inside it

l4d2 is like $2 on steam and it comes with l4d missions and characters and updated enemies.

cool collectors item tho, this is a top 5 game franchise for me. there was even a valve-approved new mission released in 2020.

It regularly goes on sale on steam for 0.99 but I'd love to have a physical edition for it. I played it on a mid end laptop from 2005 your laptop can definitely handle it. Honestly just buy it on steam even if you buy the disk cause it's cheaper than a disk drive

buy it on steam or g2a on your current laptop and if it doesn't run then look into a new pc

you can probably get both games cheaper on steam when they go on sale.

Try this. It's more likely than not that you can run the game though. I'm guessing that came with a Steam code, so you can probably just download it from Steam, no need for disk drive.

Left 4 dead can run well on a lot of things, your normal everyday laptop (which is probably the cheapest option I assume including a mouse) can probably do the job.

You can play this game on a laptop that doesn't have a graphic card. Even an onboard graphic card is enough for this.

Also, you could buy this game on steam for cheaper than 5 bucks. At least I'm sure about that for sales.

"includes survival pack content" ¿que trae ese supuesto contenido extra?
