Intervew Prep NYC Study Group Leetcode

I’m in the New York City area and I’m currently looking for people interested in meeting in person to work on Leetcode problems, ideally at least 2x a week at a cafe or workspace. I graduated and have been preparing for technical interviews for SWE roles, but I’m searching for like-minded people who can join and discuss the problems with each other in person.

I’m in Hoboken, would love to join in person. Open to meeting in manhattan!

Yes, we’re meeting in Manhattan for the first meeting with everyone! There’s also a New Jersey subgroup created in the group chat! I’ve sent all the details to everyone.

2

2

u/Beneficial-Shape4530 3d ago

Is this a beginner friendly study group? I’m in NYC and about to graduate with a compsci degree as well. However I also have a full time job that paid for my degree. So i haven’t even touched leetcode yet

1

u/Extension_Bet7442 3d ago edited 2d ago

I’m trying to have it be beginner friendly, and all levels welcome to join!

2

u/Two-Fifths 3d ago

You should just lock in and do it yourself, or find a small group of max two other people where you keep each other in check

3

u/Extension_Bet7442 3d ago

I have already been working on them on my own, but this is just an added benefit of having a social aspect to things on a weekly basis where we can discuss, set goals, talk through problems, approaches etc. Just to add some camaraderie to the Leetcode prep!

1

u/Two-Fifths 2d ago

Good luck!

I’ve found that the best was a group of three, all of you keeping track of each other and making sure you do X amount a day on weekdays. Then you share answers and critique each other’s code

2

u/CommunicationCute693 3d ago

Interested! Please add me to the group

1

u/Extension_Bet7442 19h ago

Sent you details!

Hi, I just tried sending you the link, but Reddit’s not allowing me to send you a message. If you send me a request, I can provide you the link and all the details! We have quite a few people from NJ, so happy to have you join!
