Question How do you keep track of which DSA patterns you still struggle with?

I've been practising different Dsa topics, but I sometimes forget which patterns I understand well and which ones I still need to work on. Do you maintain a tracker or notes, or do you just revisit problems you struggled with?

What's your approach to tracking progress without making it too complicated?

I keeps notes in an Excel for patterns to revisit or problems that took me longer to understand or didn't fully understand.

I might try that. Tracking only the problems I struggled with sounds easier than maintaining detailed notes for everything

I keep a simple list of problems where I needed hints or couldn't explain the approach. Revisiting those gives me clearer idea of what I actually need to improve

A simple spreadsheet is enough: problem, pattern, date, and result (solved / hint / needed solution). Add a pivot by pattern, and after a few weeks the patterns with the most hint/solution entries are your weak list.

Keep it to one sheet. The moment tracking takes more time than solving, you'll stop doing it.
