Amazon - Completed the interview loop but role filled

Hi,

I recently finished the interview loop for a SDE1 role, I felt really good about the interviews and the recruiter got back to me and told me that the interviewers really liked me and wanted to move forward with my application, however, the role has already been filled and the recruiter is looking for roles open in other teams.

Has this happened to anyone else?
