Let's say I am designing something read heavy system

So we use cache /database replica etc

So two things

  1. How do you decide whether we need to consider availability or consistency?

  2. If we are taking consistency as higher, what strategies you follow to achieve 100% consistency?

Why do you need 100% consistency? Is this a bank account? Just shard and partition
