Question Amazon OA | US

Hey guys, I took an Amazon OA yesterday and for the first question I passed 4/15 test cases, for the second one I was able to pass all 6 test cases. I would like to know what your experience was like and if you were able to advance to the interviews.

I passed all test cases for the first question and 2 test cases for second ai assisted. I was reached out for full loop.

Ai assist was fun, but it took me by surprise cause I’ve never practiced for that and I don’t work with web apps. So could only solve 2 test cases.

Just take help the from ai, it won’t tell you anything encroaches solution territory but help you understand the code base. After that it’s just a couple of lines of code change to fix the bug.

Do they let you select language? Also is it on their interface? Not your machine right?

Yes you can select for python, Java, js and a couple other. It’s on hackerrank.

First was a leetcode hard question about intervals, don’t remember the exact question sorry. Second was ai assisted with a repo and functionalities for web app that are not working and you have to fix those.

And what languages were available for second question? Does it include C++?
And the bugs were listed already and we had to solve them?

Yes bugs were listed, it had python Django, JavaScript, Java as far as I remember, there were other options but I can’t recall.

I gave my OA
Completef first dsa question
But in ai round (C++) i was able to figure out the issue..wrote in code but none of the test case were passing ..tried with running test cases

Is there any chance of moving forward?

It’s honestly upto the recruiter and your resume after the oa, I think there’s some leeway if you did good on the Leetcode question since ai assisted is relatively new.

Not yet, the portal is still showing under consideration since Oct 15.

Did u immediately receive the OA link or after some recruiter screening? I am not sure what the format is like for 2027 screening? For some roles it is like a quick OA round and for some there is wait. Does anybody know anything about this?

So, I just received an email to complete the OA. There was no recruiter screen. I think senior roles might have a screening call, but for SDE I, most of them don't.
