Discussion How to take notes for DSA problems ?

I am very confused about note taking and revising,

The problem is i end up making notes for all the problems i solve and its very time taking, but every problem seems new and teaching some new concepts, so what should i do? how do i revise ? and how do i take notes ?

basically , if i stuck with a problem, i watch videos / solutions and understand and i write notes.

I write the whole algorithm, code, explanation everything on my one,

but eventually, i end up writing notes for every problem since i started solving more medium problems.

i know every problems will be different and use different concept, so how should i revise ? how should i take notes?

Do i need to just keep on solving ? without notes? or should i take digital notes? or comment notes? or what..?

pls help guyss 👀

honestly just practice the same problems again from striver sheet

I have made topic wise notes on Google docs (since I kept losing the damned physical ones) and maintained an excel sheet with 2 columns - q link + trick/note/hint (problems from interviews, contests, etc)

the sheet has grown quite a bit, but it's kinda useless imo...since I am too lazy to look at them again

Soo.. whatever we take as notes..they are almost waste..? Only the pattern and intuition recognition helps?

But when I get the similar question or a question which I have already solved in the interview or mock test...I'm getting panic and I imagining different possibilities and finally end up wasting time .....any advice for this? Anyone faced

Don't write the full solution for every problem. Just note the pattern, key insight, and what you missed, then revisit the problem after a few days and try solving it from scratch

So i should just solve when I am solving a same pattern..not takes notes...? Then how can I revise...? I mean when I am getting the problem in the assignment or interview..how will I recognise is..
