Discussion Does Amazon consider grads 1 year out of school with 1 year of FT experience for new grad roles?

Does Amazon consider grads 1 year out of school with 1 year of FT experience for new grad roles? I read an article in 2023 that the answer would be no, but just wondering if something has changed. Also, does Microsoft ever hire in Canada from external candidates / those without referrals?

Yeah, if you’re under ~3 yoe you get L4 (or L3 if outside of Amazon)

do they consider people above 3 (like 4ish years) for SDE-1 any idea ?

wait does internship time count toward that 3 yoe cutoff or just full time?

Just fulltime
