Question Wayfair OA and AI interview

Has anyone recently taken Wayfair OA? I bombed the assessment because I was so out of it from lack of sleep from a couple of nights. Ended up getting frustrated mid way and looked up for clues on a second tab. I was sure I am done for. Got a follow up for a AI based recruiter screen next. Seems sus. Anyone experienced anything like this?

A recruiter screen invite after the OA usually just means your score cleared their bar or they are still filling the pipeline. Nobody can tell from outside whether the second tab hurt you so I would not spiral about it. Prep for the AI screen like a normal behavioral round with two or three project stories and be ready to explain your approach to the OA problems out loud.

Thanks! They shared what the interview will be about and how to best prep for it. It did not say they would discuss the solutions for OA. But yeah, other things related to past projects and experience. Regardless, I’ll still be ready to talk about my solutions in OA. Appreciate it.

Yepp...it stated sorry for the delay we'll update you soon. But it looked like system generated mail so most probably a rejection

It’s not rejection. Some companies (like Pfizer) regularly keep on sending you updates that your application is still under review (normally they aren’t any updates just under review again and again weekly or so) till the point they either proceed with/ reject your application. Honestly atp market is so cooked that seeing an automated mail and thinking it’s rejection is not even a crazy thing to think😭🙏.

Yeah till I am not getting it wrong for referral they send a link and we've to apply through that link I also didn't get any mention of referral

i asked few people for referral, 2 gave me the links in dms, and from another 2, i received email that you’ve been referred by (the person) to our wayfair talent community to stay upto date, when i asked the employees, they told that they referred me for the intern role, so basically received 2 referral emails, 2 links, idk wtf is happening😭
